Designer - Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW
Work with our Design Team drawing parts, weldments, and assemblies of Steel and Hydraulic components.  This position includes some design work and the ability to work in an environment where the right individual can grow and assume additional areas of responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make revisions and updates to existing drawings
• Design and draw parts, document assembly procedures for manufacturing plant
• Create or modify Bill of Materials and Parts listing for drawings
• Perform dimension and tolerance calculations
• Participate in design changes and product improvements
• Assist with production plan and product lead time schedule to maximize production output
• Create design documentation for customer manuals on product maintenance and safety

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Complete knowledge and understanding of SolidWorks Software required
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint a Plus
• Desire to get involved and work with other employees, products and equipment
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
